Chandler Phillips is a student of public relations and strategic communications as a major at Utah Valley University. He is a junior and is expected to graduate in December, 2022. Chandler enjoys learning about effective communication and ways to better understand and help others through communication.

He studies Spanish as a minor. He speaks the language fluently and enjoys practicing the two skills of strategic communication and Spanish together.

Chandler began working at his family owned snow cone shack when he was just 14. He became the manager at 16 when he learned about payroll, inventory and managing a productive workforce. After high school and a 2 year service trip, he worked in a warehouse as shipping and receiving specialist, where he got forklift certified.

From 2019-present he has worked for a company called Precoa. Precoa is a third party marketing firm which works strictly with the leading funeral homes in the nation. Chandler assumes the role of a Sales Development Representative Team Lead. He works closely with his team members to increase effective productivity in sales efforts. He uses his knowledge in Strategic Communications to lead in the office and promote employee wellness, progression and craftmanship.

In high school, Chandler and his close knit group of friends created a service group called Sons of Service. They would rotate monthly, participating in different service projects to provide support and assistance to make others lives easier.

From August 2015-2017, he participated in a service group for his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He spent his time in Spain, mainly in the cities Torrejón, Avilés, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Alcalá de Henares, and Móstoles. There, he taught repentance and baptized converts.
